Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By using Ursa Invoice Scanner (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into legally binding agreements.

3. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Use of the Service

• You will not misuse the Service or attempt to disrupt its operation.
• You will only upload content you have the right to process.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until canceled.
• Stripe processes payments on our behalf; your payment details are handled directly by Stripe.
• We may change plan pricing with prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content and code, is owned by Ursa Apps. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy of extracted invoice data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ursa Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

• Account data (email, password).
• Usage data (app interactions, device info, diagnostics).
• Content you upload (invoice images and extracted data).
• Payment-related data handled by Stripe (card details are processed by Stripe, not stored by us).

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To process invoices and deliver extracted data to you.
• To communicate updates, security alerts, and support responses.
• To enforce our Terms and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

• Supabase (hosting, authentication, database/storage).
• Stripe (payments and subscription billing).
• OpenAI (invoice text extraction when you submit images).
• As required by law, or to protect rights, property, and safety.

4. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Uploaded invoices and extracted data are retained until you delete them or your account is removed.

5. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit/at rest via our providers, access controls). No method is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data by contacting us.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in regions where we or our providers operate (Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI) with appropriate safeguards.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
